Maximum Dollar Limit
The maximum amount of money that an insurance company will pay for claims within a specific period of time. For instance, most PPO types of programs have an overall lifetime maximum expressed in millions of dollars usually a minimum of $1M. Maximum dollar limits vary greatly. They may be based on the type of illness or expressed in a period of time.

General Enrollment Period (Gep)
The General Enrollment Period is January 1 through March 31 of each year. If you enroll in Premium Part A or Part B during the General Enrollment Period, your coverage starts on July 1.

Insolvency
When a health plan has no money or other means to stay open and give health care to patients.
